    • Russell Stover , General Manager

      Russell is a native Tennessean, born and raised in Overton County, and attended Middle Tennessee State University. He started his selling career with Southwestern Publishing, selling books in the summer door-to-door. His first job in the automotive industry was in Cookeville at a Ford-Lincoln-Mercury dealership. When he moved to Nashville in 1985 he worked briefly for Rivergate Toyota before joining the staff at Thoroughbred Motorcars where he remained for 2 years. He then worked at Mercedes Benz of Nashville for 3 years. He joined BMW of Nashville, formerly Surperior Motors, as Sales Manager in 1992. He became General Manager in 1995. He has served in that capacity ever since.

      He has been chosen to serve on the BMW Dealer Forum twice, the Mini Dealer Council where he is serving for the second time, and the board of the local Better Business Bureau. One of the things he is most proud of in the automotive industry is earning the esteemed BMW Center of Excellence Award 8 years in a row from 1999 through 2007. He is also respected within the Sonic Automotive Family because he has been instrumental in promoting and developing talent for other Sonic Automotive stores, i.e. General Managers Harold Hamilton and Robert Hartman, as well as Service Mangers Ryan Lewis and Troy Conyer, to mention a few.

      Russell has been honored by his fellow associates with "Russell Stover Day" which is celebrated on (or around) April 12 each year. He delights in being the chef at store cookouts to celebrate the holidays of Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. Holding true to his name, his favorite "thank you" is to present every associate a one pound box of Russell Stover candy at Christmas breakfast.

      Nancy has been with BMW of Nashville since July of 1991 and has been honored numerous times as "Salesperson of the Month". She has also received the coveted BMW Profiles in Achievement award for customer satisfaction and sales every year since 1998 and was named to the Professional Council on two occasions. The Profiles award represents excellent customer care, attention to detail and personal effort toward the goal of excellence.

      The BMW Ultimate Drive to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure was a vital part of our lives for twelve years. Nancy was the local coordinator for this event which contributed over $12 million dollars to further the cause to find a cure for breast cancer. Although the program has been temporarily canceled due to economic conditions, the cause is still a vital part of life at BMW of Nashville and individual donations are always accepted.

      With over 23 years in the automobile industry, Nancy is grateful for the customers who have remained loyal to her and BMW over the years. As her role continues to evolve within the dealership, Nancy remains available to consult with you about your car needs or wants.

      David Bartol has been with BMW of Nashville for 9 years and has over 26 years of experience in the auto industry. In addition David has won Salesman of the year in 2012 and 2013.
      He is a dedicated family man who has a love for God, the Green Bay Packers, and BMW.

      Leah Nicole Shinn was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She loves her city, and is proud to call it home! At only nineteen years of age (still attending college), she was hired by a prominent Nashville financial institution. She started as an executive assistant which lead to a position in marketing and business development. She became responsible for providing an array of account services to Nashville Metro employees. For 5 years, she spoke to hundreds of newly hired Nashville employees through the Davidson County Board of Education and Davidson County Sheriff's Department.

      Not only did she provide adequate financial information to the adults that service the city of Nashville, she also included the kids of Nashville! Leah personally gave classroom lessons to each school as requested, regarding the importance of saving, monetary value, budgets, and why budgets are so crucial. During the first year of the program, one school alone saved over $30k!

      She began her automotive career in sales with a Nashville luxury dealership February 2011. On February 14, 2012 she joined the BMW Nashville sales team. Leah is on her third BMW, and was a service client long before she became a Client Advisor. We are thrilled to have gained a BMW enthusiast who loves and believes in the brand. She is passionate to tell you, and show you, why BMW is the "Ultimate Driving Machine"!
