What's New for the 2023 BMW 4 Series?
The BMW 4 Series was an exciting addition to the lineup when it debuted in 2021. Available in both coupe and sedan body styles, the 4 Series has yet to be updated between the 2022 and 2023 model years. It continues to deliver the spectacular on-the-road experience and the delightful luxuries that today's BMW shoppers are looking for.
The façade of the 4 Series is immediately engaging thanks to its long, powerful hood and the strong angle through the profile. The nose is distinctive, with a tall kidney grille and large, angled air intake ports. The headlights are equally impressive, with an LED ribbon that outlines a pair of bulbs. On the sides of the 4 Series, the haunches are smoothly defined, and the lower doors have deep, athletic contouring.
Four trims are offered for the 2023 BMW 4 Series. The lower trims benefit from 255 horsepower pulled from a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. The higher 4 Series trims are outfitted with a 382-horsepower, turbocharged, 3.0-liter, six-cylinder engine. These two engines are paired with an automatic eight-speed transmission and rear-wheel drive. Select trims have the option of all-wheel drive.
All of the 4 Series trims are brilliantly appointed with advanced features and technologies. If you opt for the base trim, your BMW will come with synthetic leather material, an 8.8-inch central display screen, an 8.8-inch instrument panel, a 10-speaker audio system, voice recognition, a dual-zone auto climate control system, wireless smart device connections, and driver's memory settings. Safety features in all trims include auto high beams, forward collision mitigation, blind-spot detection, parking sensors, and a lane departure warning. The more advanced 4 Series trims may add parking assistance, a Harman Kardon sound system, heated seats, remote engine start, wireless smartphone charging, neck warmers, a 360-degree camera, larger display screens, partially automated steering, evasive steering, and others.
