Instead, drivers can initiate lane changes by looking at the exterior rear mirror, supporting hands-free driving at speeds of up to 85 miles per hour.
The three available powertrains for the BMW X7 remain unchanged from the previous model year. The entry-level option features a turbo V6 producing 375 horsepower, while the mid-range variant boasts a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine generating 523 horsepower. The top-of-the-line Alpina XB7 trim retains its powerful 630-horsepower V8 engine. All trim levels come equipped with all-wheel drive, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and an air suspension system with adaptive dampers.
Exterior enhancements for 2025 include the availability of 23-inch wheels and the standard 21-inch wheels. The design maintains its sharp yet refined aesthetic, with the iconic BMW grille slightly squared off and the nose's lower fascia featuring edgy design elements for a more aggressive look.
