As the newest member of BMW's iconic "M" performance portfolio, expectations for our spanking-new sports coupe, the 2016 BMW M2, are most certainly sky-high.
And as such, we at BMW of Nashville found ourselves wondering: "Will it meet or beat the bar, or fall just short?"
Well, thanks to the clip below, we now have our answer. Pair up with Kelley Blue Book Senior Associate Video Editor, as he provides some context on the matter:
The star of the show here is, without question, the M2's turbo 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine. Dishing out a dazzling 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque, the M2 is available with your choice of either six-speed manual or a seven-speed automated manual (DCT) transmission.
We'd also note that it's especially frisky when had with the optional DCT; so equipped, the M2 can serve up the 0-to-60 mph sprint in a staggering 4.1 seconds.
For more information about this tempestuous two-door, or to take the wheel of one, we invite you to swing by our Nashville, TN showroom. Our seasoned staff is available to address your every question regarding the M2, or any other BMW model throughout the current fleet.
