BMW will be introducing a new concept vehicle to the masses at the end of this summer, on August 17th. In place of BMW’s traditional “kidney grille”, the concept 8 Series features more angular, aggressive “teeth”. But that’s not the only thing special about this car.

Introduction to Production

This concept car is but an introduction to what will eventually become an actual BMW production vehicle – The BMW 8 Series Coupe. Thought not the first vehicle to bear this name by any means, the new 8 Series will be the first to bear the name in over fifteen years. Though BMW currently sells a 6 series coupe and convertible, the 8 series has always stood for the pinnacle of luxury and performance, according to BMW officials. This is a welcome comeback for devoted BMW fans and sports car lovers alike.
