It sounds too good to be true, but BMW currently replaces BMW tires of a value up to $600. Why? It's all a part of the new Road Hazard Tire Coverage program. Our BMW of Nashville team has a quick rundown of the details.

What do They Mean by Road Hazard?

The "road hazard" in question refers to impact breaks, bruises or punctures from potholes, nails, glass and other objects. Tires that fail after exposure to such hazards during normal driving on roads maintained by the state and Brentwood are eligible for coverage. To qualify, bring your failed tire to any national, original or participating BMW Tire Center or to a BMW dealership. After we inspect the damage, we verify that it's covered and submit a claim on your behalf. We then replace the tire up to a value of $600.

What BMW Tires are Eligible?

Eligible BMW tires entitled to Road Hazard Tire Coverage include:

  • Wheel packages (WPK) purchased after 4/1/20201 (only includes tires, not wheels)
  • Winter tires (WIN) purchased after 2/1/2018
  • Secondary plus tires (SEP)
  • Original equipment alternative tires (OEA)
  • Original equipment manufacturer tires (OEM)
