Serving Brentwood, TN
The BMW X3 is a compact crossover that is loaded with elite features. At the same time, its athletic performance capabilities make it a standout on Nashville’s streets. Before picking out your next crossover from our inventory at BMW of Nashville, you should be aware of the differences between the 2019 and 2020 model years.
Performance
The primary updates that have been made to the 2020 X3 are experienced on the road. Specifically, the 2020 BMW X3 is now available with a plug-in hybrid engine that mates an electric motor with a 2.0-liter turbo powertrain. Uniquely, you can travel 18 miles on pure electric power before consuming any gas. The entry-level powertrain is unchanged between 2019 and 2020. This is a 248-horsepower, four-cylinder engine. The 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo, I-6 engine is also unchanged. It continues to deliver 382 horsepower.
Appearance
The 2020 and 2019 BMW X3 crossovers are identical throughout their exteriors. This smaller crossover has a sporty look with side air vents near the front fenders and a metal-accented lower-front fascia. The two-part grille also has chrome bars to define the model’s sophisticated side. From LED headlights and fog lamps to a rear spoiler and 18-inch wheels, the X3 turns heads everywhere it goes.
Features
The interior features are also unchanged between the 2019 and 2020 X3 versions. The seats are covered with premium Sensatec upholstery. Wood and metal accents highlight the X3’s premium qualities. Features in the X3 for both model years are Apple CarPlay, Connected Drive, a wireless hotspot, a Hi-Fi sound system, a Live Cockpit system, and other equipment.
